Before you travel
Check your passport and visa separately
The DI Card records travel information. It does not establish your visa eligibility or permitted stay in Curaçao. Those rules depend on nationality, residence, travel purpose and route.
- Use the passport you will carry when you travel.
- Check passport validity and any visa requirement with the authority.
- Check separate rules for transit, children and residents.

Preparing your DI Card
Practical details for your next step. Immigration requirements can change; check the authority’s current instructions before submission.
The DI Card is part of your entry preparation
The Curaçao Tourist Board lists the Digital Immigration Card among its travel requirements and links directly to dicardcuracao.com. That .com address is the official portal linked by the tourism authority.
Its information also covers a passport valid throughout the stay, proof of onward or return travel, accommodation or the reason for the visit, and a visa where applicable. Review the full official information for your situation. The DI Card alone does not grant entry.
DI Card versus optional Express Pass
The Express Pass is an optional border-processing service; it does not replace the DI Card. The tourism authority describes completing the DI Card and using the Airside app to verify and share passport information for the Express Pass.
Its published eligibility includes travelers aged 16 or older with a smartphone and an e-passport from a supported country. The list includes the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom and multiple European countries. Check the complete current list and device requirements; residence in one of these countries is not the same as holding its eligible passport.
If some family members are ineligible or prefer not to use the optional service, check the authority’s instructions for their arrival arrangements. Do not assume that one eligible adult makes the whole family eligible.
Keep the steps and confirmations separate
- Use the DI Card portal linked by the Curaçao Tourist Board, and check the current form instructions and fees there.
- Prepare the passport, itinerary and accommodation information for the traveler concerned. Complete the DI Card and retain its confirmation.
- If you choose the optional Express Pass, follow the official information for the app and its separate verification and consent process. Do not upload identity documents to a general enquiry form.
- Before departure, distinguish the DI Card confirmation from any Express Pass confirmation and from the airline boarding pass.
